Simplified Excellence: cost-optimized DIN rail power supplies
With the PIANO series, PULS-quality DIN-rail power supplies are now available for even the most cost oriented user. Through a fresh and innovative approach, the intrinsic properties of a PULS power supply (high reliability and long service lifetime) have now been introduced into a product that also has significant price advantages.
Despite our low cost requirements, an MTBF of more than 1,4 million hours and efficiencies of 90,5 to 95,2% have been achieved. This innovation was made possible by a clever single-board design, cost-saving polycarbonate housing and a design team that was focused on an intelligent design for manufacturability.
Technical features
To ensure that your application continues to function properly, PIANO includes a DC-OK signal, an operational temperature range of up to +55°C (without derating) and large input and output terminals all within a light and compact housing. The 24V/10A unit, with a width of only 49mm, is the same size as the smallest “new to market” high-end products from other vendors.

The DIMENSION family unites all the technological achievements PULS made in the past 35 years. For our customers this means the highest efficiency, longest service life and – of course – the smallest dimensions in the market.
We are continuously advancing the DIMENSION family with one goal in mind: To give you reliable and efficient power supplies for your applications. Install them in seconds and don’t worry about them for years.
The DIMENSION family includes the widest range of 12-48V DIN-rail power supplies. The products are classified in three series: Q , C and X with 1-, 2- or 3- phase input and a power of 80 to 960W.
Each series assembles various power supply models. Helpful special features like DC-OK relay contact, remote shut-down, spring clamps or DC wide range input and important approvals are available for every series.
This makes the DIMENSION family valuable for every high demanding application.
MiniLine Series
Ultra-compact DIN rail power supplies for lower power applications
The MiniLine family covers DIN-rail power supplies for low and medium power range from 15W to 100W. The units, in their rugged plastic housing are highly efficient, compact, reliable and can be installed in seconds.
MiniLine users are convinced by an excellent cost-benefit ratio and a high power density. So a 30W device requires a space of only 22,5mm on the DIN-rail.

Technical features
Those 5-48V power supplies, with 1- or 2-phase input and an output of 15-100W, are useful for the decentralized supply of small loads.
Various versions with application-specific features (e.g. DC wide-range input, spring-clamp terminals, conformal coating, etc.) are available at any time.
Integrated Reliability
Trouble-free operation is guaranteed by the robust plastic housing, the vibration-resistant terminals, the transient filtered input with a overload and short circuit protected output.
A three-year warranty is provided for a long service life and all units have above-average MTBF values.
Developed for flexibility
All units are suitable for use in industrial as well as office and residential areas. The comprehensive approvals package allows for trouble-free, universal use.
All units bear the UL mark and many units are additionally approved to GL, ABS, NEC Class 2 or Class 1 Div 2.

DC/DC Converters

DC-UPS with Batteries
For the installation of a DC-UPS system there are three essential elements necessary: a power supply, a DC-UPS and a battery.
The DC-UPS is responsible for monitoring and charging the battery as well as controlling the seamless transition between normal and buffer mode.

DIN-RAILway power supplies for railway applications
The DIN-RAILway power supplies from PULS represent a new range of railway power supplies whose concept has already been proven in tens of thousands of industry applications worldwide. What distinguishes the new PULS DIN-RAILway power supplies is the extremely simple DIN-rail fixation.
The performance requirements for railway applications are challenging on several fronts: Failures cannot be tolerated, even under extreme mechanical stress over an extended temperature range. Historically, the input voltages in railways differ from those experienced in industrial applications.
PULS power supplies are certified to fulfil railway standards
A complete range of 1- to 3- phase units and DC/DC converters are currently available, all of which can be mounted on DIN rails and are certified to comply with the common railway standards:

The units are: convection cooled, operational down to -40°C; equipped with vibration-compensating spring clamp terminals, conformal coated, extremely lightweight in a compact housing and exhibit the highest level of efficiency.
